This year’s Christmas Fayre and tree light switch on will take place on Thursday 28 November.
Weather permitting – the evening will start at 4pm with a festive singsong at the junction of High Street and Wepre Drive where we’ll be switching on the lights on our Christmas Tree at 4:15pm.
We’ll then move inside the Civic Hall, for our annual Christmas Fayre where there will be lots going on!
For our younger visitors we are expecting Father Christmas himself to make an appearance again this year so we’ll make sure the Hall is decorated and Santa’s Grotto is ready to make him feel at home.
In the Hall there will be a variety of charity, community and craft stalls – where you can maybe pick up some extra Christmas presents and help raise money for great local causes.
We’ve got a fantastic line up of local ‘acts’ on stage to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening. Details of the performers and times will be posted nearer the time.
There will be plenty of Festive Music thrown in for good measure – provided by our great friends at Radio Deeside, as well as our usual Charity Raffle!
Refreshments will be available on the night with the Civic Hall bar and Food Hall open.
We’ll also have free mince pies and mulled wine (whilst stocks last!).
Entry to the event is FREE and it promises to be a fun filled evening for all the family.
We do still have a limited number of spaces for stalls available. The closing date for those interested in having a stall is Friday 25 October – so if you are interested in hosting a stall please contact the Office on 01244 819420 or firstname.lastname@example.org
